Fro-Yo Friends is the CARRIE on Top! 🍒

The newly released Fro-Yo Friends collection for Trinity Stamps is already serving up all kinds of adorable inspiration! We sat down with creator Carrie Rhoades to talk frozen yogurt flavors, crafty surprises, and the sweet details hidden throughout this delightful collection.

If Carrie opened a real frozen yogurt shop, she'd keep things simple and perfectly on-brand. The name? Fro-Yo Friends — because it's a place that's "FRO You and YO Friends!" And the signature flavor? An irresistible swirl of Espresso and Peanut Butter Chocolate frozen yogurt, topped with crushed Oreos or a generous caramel drizzle. Uh, YES PLEASE.

Without hesitation, Carrie says she'd be the fro-yo itself! "I am soft, sweet, and a SWIRL of crazy mixed in—but the good kind." And, of course, she'd need a cookie on top because she is always "better with my bestie!"

Ever wonder where the idea for Fro-Yo Friends came from?

According to Carrie, inspiration tends to arrive when she's not actively searching for it. "I get my best ideas when I am trying not to think of ideas. When I am quiet and still, ideas pop in—like they've been waiting for that moment." A reminder to all of us that sometimes creativity shows up when we simply make space for it. 🤗

Just like frozen yogurt needs toppings, Fro-Yo Friends has some perfect companions in the Trinity lineup. Carrie recommends pairing the collection with the Simply Sentimental: Sprinkles Stamp Set and Die Set, and she's especially enjoyed creating fruity frozen treats using the new Orange You Glad Circle Card Add-On Die Set, Hey, Cutie Stamp Set and Die Set, and Watermelon Circle Add-On Stencil Set. The possibilities for custom flavor combinations are deliciously endless!

There are plenty of charming details in the collection, but two stand out to Carrie. First is the domed lid die, which she considers the perfect finishing touch—and an ideal place to create a shaker element. (So true!) Next is one of her favorite, buildable sentiments: "Fro-Yo ice cream tummy," which comes from a fun inside joke with Trinity owner, Taniesa. You know when you're completely full, but somehow still have room in your "ice cream tummy" for dessert? Oh yes, Carrie, we know exactly what you mean! Bring on the fro-yo! 😋

Looking for a fresh color combination? Carrie encourages crafters to think about their favorite frozen yogurt flavors and build from there. One of her earliest projects featured a combination many people might not expect: Blue and yellow. The inspiration? A delicious Blueberry Lemon flavor. Suddenly those colors make perfect sense!

Carrie's favorite small detail may also be the one people overlook most often. The set includes a tiny die that allows the happy little cherry to slide down the side of the fro-yo cup, creating a fun interactive feature. Even better, the idea came from Taniesa, and Carrie considers it "genius!" We couldn't agree more.

Carrie sums it up perfectly: "Fro-Yo Friends is perfect for people who like to make CUTE cards and might like to include a yummy gift card. So, everyone, right?!?"
