Returns

What is the return window?
There's a 30-day window to request a return or exchange once you receive your order.

Are there any items that are non-returnable?
Unfortunately, returns or exchanges will not be accepted on items marked "Final Sale." Our regular sale items are not Final Sale unless marked. UNTUCKit will not process returns/exchanges purchased from third party retailers (Nordstrom, Macy's, etc.). Third party purchases must be returned to the original retailer.

How will I receive my refund?
Once you receive a confirmation email saying we've received your return package, please allow up to 10 business days for us to process. You will then receive a confirmation email for your refund. It will then take an additional 3-5 business days for your bank to generate your refund.

Can I return online purchases in-store?
You can also visit any store to assist with your return or exchange.

How do I start a return online?
Online orders can be processed online by visiting untuckit.com/apps/returns.

Editor's Take

So here's the thing about UNTUCKit-it's basically the answer to a problem most guys didn't even realize they had until someone pointed it out. You know that awkward moment when you're trying to look casual but your dress shirt hangs down like you're wearing your dad's hand-me-downs? Yeah, that.

Back in 2011, founder Chris Riccobono was fed up with shirts that were too long to wear untucked, and instead of just complaining about it like the rest of us, he actually did something. He teamed up with Aaron Sanandres (they went to Columbia together), and they launched what would become the first brand specifically designed around shirts meant to be worn untucked. The name itself is kind of genius-divisive, sure, but it gets people talking. And talking they did.

What started as 10 cotton shirts sold mostly to friends and family has turned into a legitimate retail empire. We're talking 80+ stores across North America and the UK, plus a thriving online business. The company's headquartered in New York's SoHo neighborhood, which feels about right for a brand that's all about that polished-casual vibe.

But here's what's interesting-UNTUCKit isn't just about shirts anymore. They've expanded into polos, pants, tees, henleys, sweaters, sport coats, shoes, and accessories. They even launched women's clothing, including button-downs and dresses. The whole thing is built around this idea that you can look sharp without looking stuffy, which honestly resonates with how most people want to dress these days.

The shirts themselves are cut shorter than traditional dress shirts-that's the whole point. They've done the research to figure out exactly where the hem should fall (spoiler: it's not as simple as just chopping off a few inches). Different fits for different body types, wrinkle-free options, performance fabrics-they've really thought this through. And with over 1 million shirts sold by 2014, clearly they were onto something.

One thing that stands out is their retail experience. They opened their first brick-and-mortar store in SoHo in 2015, and they've been expanding ever since. The stores offer virtual styling, fit guidance, gift wrap, and in-store pickup. It's that whole "make shopping easy and personal" approach that actually works when you're trying to figure out if a shirt fits right.

The brand's had some memorable marketing moments too. Their "Chris Walking" commercial, where founder Chris Riccobono literally walks around explaining the problem with regular shirts, has racked up nearly 400,000 views on YouTube. It's straightforward, a little quirky, and it gets the point across. They've also partnered with athletes like Brad Richards (two-time Stanley Cup champion) and recently collaborated with DXL Group to offer Big + Tall sizes-something customers had been requesting for years.

Now, is UNTUCKit perfect? Not quite. Their return policy is a standard 30-day window, and some customers have had mixed experiences with customer service. But they do offer free returns within the U.S., and you can return online purchases in-store, which is convenient. They've also got live chat with store associates and pretty responsive email support (typically 1-3 hours on weekdays).

The pricing sits in that premium-casual range-not cheap, but not luxury either. Think of it as paying for the specific cut and fit that you can't really get elsewhere. Whether that's worth it depends on how much the untucked look matters to you. But for guys (and now women) who've been frustrated by ill-fitting casual shirts, UNTUCKit basically created a whole new category. And sometimes, that's all it takes.
