Editor's Take
So here's the thing about Viking Bags-they're basically the motorcycle luggage company that figured out what riders actually need, not just what looks cool in a catalog. Viking Bags is the world's largest Manufacturer of motorcycle luggage & after market parts, and honestly? That didn't happen by accident.
What sets them apart is their obsession with making stuff that actually works. The options include a shock cut-out option for motorcycles with exposed shocks, the standard throw-over, the hard mount which requires bolting the saddlebags to the fender rail, and the quick disconnect which is similar to the hard mount but only the QDS mounting posts are connected to the fender rail. The QDS itself is easily removable as it will remain attached to the saddlebags making the removal of the saddlebags themselves a matter of seconds. See what I mean? They're thinking about real-world problems.
And they're not just throwing products at the wall to see what sticks. Viking Bags leverages cutting-edge technology and manufacturing processes in its R&D efforts. By embracing advancements in materials science, design software, and production techniques, Viking Bags can develop innovative products that meet the evolving needs of riders. That's the kind of approach that keeps over 1000 Mechanics across the country trusting their products.
But here's what really caught my attention-their range is insane. Viking Bags sells leather and hard saddlebags, for some of the most popular bikes on the market. In addition to saddlebags, Viking Bags offers motorcycle sissy bar bags, solo bags, motorcycle tank bags, motorcycle windshield bags, motorcycle trunks, motorcycle tail bags, motorcycle backpacks, swing arm bags, fork bags, roll bags, handlebar bags, motorcycle baggers bags, and motorcycle tool bags. That's not just comprehensive-that's borderline overwhelming in the best way possible.
What I find interesting is their approach to innovation. Our innovative solutions to these obstacles, such as built in locks and quick-disconnect mounting systems, have kept Viking Bags in demand. We are relentlessly trying make it easy for our customers to have adequate storage on their bike by rigorously testing, modifying, and improving our products. That's not marketing speak-that's a company that gets it.
They're also constantly expanding. Viking Bags has made its debut in the adventure motorcycle luggage industry. Engineered for durability and reliability, our adventure line is built to withstand the rigors of off-road riding and offers unparalleled strength and resilience in any environment, especially adventure motorcycle side cases. Smart move, considering how adventure riding has exploded in popularity.
I think Viking Bags represents what happens when a company actually listens to its customers instead of just trying to sell them stuff. They're not perfect-no company is-but they're solving real problems for real riders, and that matters more than flashy marketing.
