Hi, y’all! I’m Quinn – North Carolina born and bred, triplet by birth, family girl at heart. I still live in the north Charlotte area where I grew up, which means my childhood memories aren’t just stories – they’re places I get to experience all over again as an adult. And let’s be real, it never gets old!
I have more than 25 years’ worth of family memories, and I can’t wait to share them! From my tiny toddler self tackling her first ice cream cone at Freedom Park (yes, there’s photo evidence) to rooftop hangs at TOPO after UNC wins, I’ve got go-to spots for families of every size and kids of every age. Even better? They’re all triplet-approved!
Scoop up the ice cream (and views) in Hendersonville
Mountains and milkshakes? The perfect combo does exist! As the only trail of its kind in NC, the Hendersonville Ice Cream Trail is a must for families and ice cream enthusiasts in the area. With 13 stops serving everything from velvety Irish scoops to Mexican paletas, each bite is an adventure. This trail is a perfect complement to a hike on the Blue Trail, an easy, kid-friendly experience at Jump Off Rock.
Watch the sun rise and set from the same beach in NC’s Brunswick Islands
This is just one example of an experience that can only be found on these five barrier islands, thanks to their unique east-west orientation. And others – including lighthouses and a special style of seafood – are waiting to be discovered.
