The Capitals will host the Boston Bruins at Capital One Arena tonight at 7:30 PM on Opening Night presented by Vanda Pharmaceuticals. All fans in attendance at tonight's game will receive a 2025-26 schedule magnet as well as a rally towel.
Fans are encouraged to arrive beginning at 2:30 PM for the festivities on F Street, highlighted by Rock the Red Carpet presented by Lexus, which will stream exclusively on the Monumental+ app from 5 to 6 PM.
Monumental Sports Network will broadcast a special one-hour pre- and postgame show before and after tonight's game.Fans can watch the game on TNT or listen to 106.7 The Fan or the Capitals Radio Network.
The Capitals announced the 23 players who will make up the team’s roster for the season opener versus the Boston Bruins at Capital One Arena.
Thirteen forwards, eight defensemen and two goaltenders make up the Capitals’ opening night roster, led by captain Alex Ovechkin, who enters his 21st season, and alternate captains John Carlson and Tom Wilson.

The winning ticket numbers will be announced at Capital One Arena and posted on the in-arena video board during the 3rd period as well as on the MSE Foundation X account. Raffle participants must be 18 years of age or older and must be physically present within the borders of the District when purchasing tickets; however, they need not be District residents.
