Returns
What is the return window?
You can request a return within 15 days from the date of delivery for products in new and unused condition. If you're returning between day 16 and day 30, a 20% restocking fee applies with a $50 minimum.
Do I need a receipt to return an item?
You need to call with your order number or product serial number handy to process the return. Whirlpool only accepts returns for products purchased directly from Whirlpool.com.
Are there any items that are non-returnable?
If the 30-day return window has passed and your product is still under warranty, you must call for warranty service or to schedule a repair instead of returning. Fees may apply for warranty service.
How will I receive my refund?
Once your product has been received, please allow up to 1 billing cycle to process your refund. Refunds will be issued to the card used for purchase.
Editor's Take
So here's the thing about Whirlpool-they're basically the appliance equivalent of that reliable friend who's been around forever and just gets stuff done. Founded way back in 1911, this Fortune 500 company pulls in around $19 billion annually and somehow manages to make washing your clothes feel less like a chore.
What's kind of fascinating is how they've evolved from a simple washing machine company into this massive ecosystem of home life. They've got Whirlpool as the flagship, but also own Maytag, KitchenAid, JennAir, Amana, and a bunch of other brands you probably have in your kitchen right now. It's like they quietly took over your entire home without you realizing it.
And they're not just sitting around making the same old stuff. They're pushing into smart appliances and things like Air Cooking technology, which honestly sounds way cooler than it probably is, but still. The company seems genuinely focused on this whole "improving life at home" mission, which could be corporate speak, but when you dig into their actual products and services, it feels pretty authentic.
With 59,000 employees and more than 55 manufacturing centers globally, they're massive but still somehow maintain that Midwestern, no-nonsense vibe from their Benton Harbor headquarters. They've weathered over a century of changes in how we live, from manual washers to smart appliances that probably know more about your laundry habits than you do.
The interesting part is how they balance being this huge corporation with actually caring about the details. Their FreshFlow™ Vent System is designed to help keep your clothes and washer fresh-which sounds simple but is exactly the kind of thing that makes daily life just a little bit better. That's their sweet spot, really. Not revolutionary, just consistently making the mundane stuff work better so you can focus on what actually matters.
