Returns

What is the return window?
You may return or exchange eligible items in their original condition and packaging within 60 days.

Are there any items that are non-returnable?
All vinyl and media sales are final. If you receive a record that appears to have been damaged in shipping or is defective, please contact us at 1-866-961-7781. Additionally, World Wide Stereo may refuse a return or charge a restocking fee if the item returned is not in like-new condition, if it's not eligible per the list, or if it is returned damaged due to improper packaging for return shipment.

How will I receive my refund?
After your return is received, they'll refund your original payment method (less any return or restocking fees if applicable). Refunds are issued to the original method of payment within 3 days of return. Please allow up to two billing cycles for the refund credit to appear on your statement.

Who pays for return shipping?
World Wide Stereo recommends using an insured and trackable shipping method as they cannot be responsible for anything lost or damaged on its way back to them. For your convenience, World Wide Stereo can provide you with a prepaid label that will be deducted from your refund.

Editor's Take

So here's the thing about World Wide Stereo - it's basically what happens when a music-loving psychologist and his artist wife decide to throw caution to the wind back in 1979. And somehow, that tiny store in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania didn't just survive, it thrived through three major recessions and became one of the nation's leaders in high-end audio and home theater.

What makes them different? Well, they're not your typical big-box electronics store. They rebuilt their flagship store in 2015 with the goal of totally rethinking the shopping experience - instead of racks of product and supermarket-like aisles, they present home technology in its more natural environment, at work and play in rooms just like you have at home. It's kind of genius, actually. You can see, hear, and feel how good today's tech can be when it's beautifully integrated into real-life settings.

But it's not just about the showrooms. They offer an award-winning residential technology integration firm, two premium retail showrooms in the Philadelphia area, and an online e-commerce experience. From Smart home technologies, control systems, and Wi-Fi networks, to whole house audio, video, lighting and shades, they specialize in designing home technology solutions that excite, work now and in the future.

And get this - they offer 60-day returns and free shipping on all orders. That's basically unheard of in the high-end audio world. They're so confident in their products and service that they give you two full months to decide if you love it.

The company's been recognized too. They were chosen for 2023 Integrator of The Year by the Consumer Technology Association and ranked #1 in the USA for Best Online Shops for Consumer Electronics by Newsweek in 2022. Not bad for a family-owned business that started with $2K in cash and $16K in loans during a major recession and oil embargo.

What really stands out is their people. They have an in-house Interior Design team and dedicated Client Services program to support clients from the beginning to long after the installation. No project is too big or too small and they regularly partner with architects, designers and contractors. These aren't just salespeople pushing products - they're certified industry specialists who actually know their stuff.

The brand carries everything from turntables and vinyl to the latest smart home automation systems. Whether you're an audiophile chasing that perfect sound or just someone who wants their TV to sound better than a tin can, they've got options. And if you're in the Philly area, their showrooms in Montgomeryville and Wayne are worth the visit just to experience what's possible.
