What is the return window?
Yardbird has a 30-day return policy from the date you receive your order, and they will gladly accept back any of their products as long as it's in new condition.
Are there any items that are non-returnable?
They cannot accept furniture returns that are not in new condition, so customers need to be mindful of this before they start living on their Yardbird furniture.
How will I receive my refund?
All refunds will be credited back to the original form of payment, whether it be credit card or Affirm financing, once their warehouse receives your items.
Who pays for return shipping?
If a product is returned, the customer is liable to pay the return shipping and a restocking fee. All full or partial returns, as well as product exchanges, are subject to a 5% restocking fee.
What if I received a damaged or incorrect item?
Should damage be present after delivery, customers should contact Yardbird immediately via their Returns Portal and they will work to resolve the situation. They allow up to 30 days from the date of delivery to report any damage visible on furniture, and photo evidence is extremely helpful in expediting the resolution process.

So here's the thing about Yardbird-they've basically cracked the code on something that's been bugging outdoor furniture shoppers for years. You know that frustrating choice between dropping serious cash on high-end patio sets or settling for flimsy big-box store stuff that takes forever to assemble? Yeah, Yardbird said "nope" to all that.
The company brings beautiful, high-quality patio and outdoor furniture direct to the consumer at honest prices. And when they say direct-to-consumer, they mean it. They cut out the middleman after spending years crisscrossing Europe, Asia and the U.S. in search of the industry's best designs and suppliers, discovering how to manufacture luxurious outdoor furniture while keeping costs to a minimum by skipping fancy storefronts and selling stellar designs direct to the consumer.
What's kind of brilliant is their approach to materials. Their Waverly collection uses multi-toned wicker made from ocean-bound plastic-so you're basically helping clean up the ocean while lounging in style. They offset 100% of their carbon footprint, which is pretty impressive for a furniture company.
But here's what really sets them apart: little or no assembly required for all their furniture. Anyone who's spent a weekend wrestling with Allen wrenches and cryptic instruction diagrams knows this is huge. Once unpacked, all of their furniture is manageable to be moved by 1-2 people.
The collections themselves are thoughtfully designed. The Langdon Collection is their best seller with its wide wicker arms, plush seat cushions and modular design. Eden was designed for people who love the appearance of teak furniture but not the maintenance, with powder-coated aluminum frames hand painted to represent the look of weathered teak.
Yardbird was acquired by Best Buy Co. in November 2021, which explains their recent expansion. They now have nine showrooms across the United States, so you can actually sit on the furniture before buying-something that's surprisingly rare in the direct-to-consumer world.
The whole operation feels refreshingly straightforward. They're obsessed with excellence in design and build quality, backing their products with an industry-leading warranty. And honestly, in a market full of either overpriced designer pieces or disposable junk, that middle ground they've carved out makes a lot of sense.
