Years ago, I bought a new car, Maggie and I were thrilled. But as the proud owner of two big dogs who loved adventure, I quickly realized my excitement was going to clash with reality.

I knew that between claws and paws, there would be scratches on the doors, damage to the leather, and fur and dirt covering the seats. I needed something to protect my car, but everything I found was cheaply made. Covers would rip, straps would break, and nothing seemed durable enough to handle two big, rowdy dogs.

That’s when the idea for 4Knines was born.

I wanted something that I could trust to last—something waterproof, durable, and designed to truly protect my car while keeping my dogs comfortable. And if I couldn’t find it, I was going to create it.

That’s why at 4Knines, we’ve always said ‘No’ to cheaply made products.
