2. Reduce exposure through allergy-free zones

While it is tempting to allow pets in bedrooms or on furniture, pet allergens can easily spread and travel to various surfaces around your home. To reduce exposure to these allergens, consider creating allergy-free zones that limit your pet’s access to a certain area. Additionally, keeping pets off of couches, chairs, and beds can limit the spread of pet allergens in shared spaces.
