A wheelchair can tip backward if the user leans too far or tries to go up a slope. Anti-tippers are small extensions that attach to the back of the wheelchair frame and act as a stability safeguard to prevent this from happening.

They rest just above the ground and only engage when the chair starts to tilt too far—stopping the fall before it happens.

These simple add-ons are lightweight, affordable, and can be easily removed or adjusted.

They’re especially useful for:
  • Caregivers pushing someone up ramps or curbs
  • New Wheelchair Users
  • Active users who lean or shift weight frequently

If you or your loved one uses a wheelchair, adding anti-tippers could be a smart safety upgrade.
