When Parisian Haute Joaillerie was falling for French gardens,
Frédéric Boucheron was embracing the charm of untamed nature.
Instead of the conventional nobility of roses,
he chose the raw beauty of thistles. His library – a treasure
trove of over 600 books – helped him to capture nature as it is:
perfect in its imperfection.

This realistic vision of nature cannot exist without
the many living creatures that inhabit it.
Dragonflies, beetles, flies and bees rival each other
in their technical virtuosity to bring us closer to reality:
translucent wings in plique-à-jour enamel that vibrate
on their tremblers, chiseled legs and claws ready
to spring to life... Nature, in its finest detail,
comes alive in the hands of the Boucheron artisans.
