Charlotte FC announced the Club has named Karl Hooper as a First Team Assistant Coach under Head Coach Dean Smith. Hooper will focus on the Club’s set pieces and individual development plans for players. 

CLFC finished the month of March with a perfect 4-0-0 record, posting the most goals in an opening month in MLS NEXT Pro history, 17, two clean sheets and allowing only three for a league best +14 goal differential.

The Club’s unbeaten record and 17 goals in a calendar month matches only Tacoma Defiance and Columbus Crew 2, both marking the feat in 2022.

For our Philadelphia Union match, we partnered with Make-A-Wish Central & Western North Carolina to host children as our player pals during our pre-match festivities.
