Earlier this year, the Thomas family lost their home in a fire. Their youngest son, Johnny, lost one of his prized possessions: his favorite Charlotte FC scarf. With the help of Ticketmaster, Ashley Westwood, and the Club, Johnny was presented a replacement scarf pre-match, before Charlotte FC took on Inter Miami at Bank of America Stadium.

This year CLTFC had the opportunity to work with local community partners, Communities in Schools, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Project 658 and Thompson, to host 125 underserved kids at the stadium for a pre-match party before a Charlotte FC League’s Cup match.

Kids got to fill their new backpacks with supplies, books, uniforms and also made crowns to wear into the match ahead of the new school year!
