Kick off the summer on a high note when a tradition returns to Millennium Park. Summer Music Series performances by acclaimed and emerging artists, along with sets from some of Chicago’s most vibrant DJs, offer audiences a diverse soundtrack.
Free concerts will be presented on Mondays and Thursdays from June 26 to Aug. 7 at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion. Pre-shows begin at 5:30 p.m. with the concerts at 6:30 p.m.
To begin the series, retro-soul sensations Thee Sacred Souls will headline a soulful evening on June 26 alongside Chicago’s own Renaldo Domino and The Heavy Sounds and DJ Nosha Luv. On June 30, hear singer-songwriters Sudan Archives and Lido Pimienta, plus DJ Roxyo Sounds. The series continues with an eclectic mix of global and local talent spanning funk, Latin, hip-hop, psych-rock, reggae, indie, jazz, and house.
All guests attending Pritzker Pavilion events must enter through designated entrances on Randolph and Monroe streets. For the complete schedule details and updates, visit Chicago.gov/DCASE.
