| Hello friends, This year, I was blessed to be able to start the year off by taking my college students to Passion! If you don’t know what Passion is, it’s a gathering of 40,000 plus college students and young adults (18-25 years old-and their leaders) for worship, speakers, and to focus on the name of Jesus coming into the New Year. |
|
|
Organized by the Passion Movement, the event aims to inspire a generation to live for God’s glory. I'm here to tell you Passion 2026 was an amazing experience….even as a 43-year-old! Here's a recap of some of my favorite Passion 2026 speakers. Passion is an incredible experience. It's an honor to be able to take my students and experience the Holy Spirit moving so powerfully in that stadium...and continuing his work in their lives after we return home. I pray that you are led by the Spirit this year and always. — Eric ChurchSource Account Manager and Youth Pastor |

6 Practical Ways to Care for the Grieving By Courtney Pray Duke |
When tragedy strikes, most of us want to help—but we’re often unsure where to begin or afraid of saying the wrong thing. After losing her husband in a tragic accident, Courtney Pray Duke experienced firsthand how the body of Christ can become the hands and feet of Jesus in moments of deep grief. What made the greatest difference wasn’t perfect words—but compassionate presence and practical care. Scripture reminds us to “bear one another’s burdens” (Galatians 6:2) and “weep with those who weep” (Romans 12:15). For churches and ministry leaders, this calling becomes an opportunity to mobilize care that reflects the heart of Christ. In her latest article, Courtney shares six practical, ministry-ready ways your church can care for grieving individuals and families, including: - Simple meal and nourishment ideas
- Household and financial relief
- Thoughtful care for children
- The power of presence, prayer, and long-term follow-up
These are small, intentional actions that create space for healing—and prepare your church to respond well before the next crisis arrives. |

NKJV Large Print Outreach New Testament Bible "Best NT to give a new convert or someone you've witnessed to & is considering Jesus. Love this version for a new convert & the large print. It is thin in size and not daunting to someone new to the Bible. I especially love the 2. 5 page foreword titled "Getting to Know God". That small section is an excellent summary of the "Big Picture of the Gospel". I always tell a recipient that they should start there because it will give them an overview of "God's Big Story of what He's doing in the World", and that will help them with some context on the different sections of the Book. [I further suggest they start with 1 John (just 5 chapters), and if they like it's message then read the book of John (21 chapters), and then finally read the entire Book. The price of this Bible makes it a very affordable gift to give to a prospective convert!" |
| Evangelical Theology “Classic Mike Bird Thorough without being dense, levity without being goofy or trite. Robust and readable. A fantastic systematic theology for anyone wanting to jump into the field or for seasoned theologians looking for an accessible way to present ideas." |
