This year, we partnered with shelters and rescues to DNA test dogs who had been waiting the longest—some for years. Knowing each dog's breed mix helped adopters see just how special they are. The result? 1 in 3 of these pups found their forever homes in just over two months—after waiting an average of 700 days.
