Dive Readiness, Postdive Activity Guidance and More
GARMIN HAS YOUR BACK
With a Garmin dive computer or satellite communicator nearby, you’re never alone. So go ahead and explore the depths — these devices come with features designed to give you and your loved ones more peace of mind.
DIVE READINESS
Diving is a test of your physical and mental abilities. With dive readiness on Descent™ Mk3 dive computers, you’ll get a picture of how recent sleep, exercise, stress and even jet lag are affecting your body.
Exercising shortly after a dive can increase your risk of decompression sickness. The postdive activity guidance feature on Descent Mk3 alerts you when it may be a good idea to postpone your training.
Air time isn’t the only limiting factor underwater. With NDL Aware depth metrics on the Descent™ X30 dive computer, you’ll see how a few meters of depth change can affect your no-decompression limit (NDL). With just a glance, you can determine if going deeper is worth a reduced NDL.
Have peace of mind every time you surface. With inReach® Mini 3 and an optional water-resistant dive case, you can send an interactive SOS message1 with your GPS coordinates to Garmin Response℠, a 24/7-staffed emergency response coordination center. Plus, you can pair with your compatible dive computer to activate an SOS from your wrist.
With the Descent™ S1 buoy, topside crew members can monitor and track their dive groups — as well as exchange preset messages with divers wearing compatible dive computers2 paired with a Descent™ T2 transceiver. Networked divers can also see their distance and direction to the buoy for return-to-base reference3.
