Summer Upstate 🌿

From entertaining weekend guests to visiting favorite spots around...

Summer is in full swing upstate, and we are enjoying every minute. Our raffia bags have been accompanying us everywhere as we entertain weekend guests and visit some of our favorite spots throughout the Hudson Valley.

We love an easy, casual dinner outdoors on the evening our guests arrive. The block print tablecloth is the Zara print by Les Indiennes in Hudson, and the freshly cut flowers are from our garden. On the menu were an arugula salad with Parmesan and lemon dressing, our white bean pâté (recipe shared here), fresh sourdough bread from Kingston Bread + Bar, and rigatoni tossed with garlic and kale.

Summer Favorite: Our C aroline Raffia Satchel in Millbrook with our chic friend Pam Doyle. Millbrook is one of our favorite towns in the area.

Inness in Accord is always a good idea, and we suggest relaxing with a view of the mountains after lunch.

Another favorite spot for lunch or dinner is Mill & Main in Kerhonkson. Exceptional service and menu.

The Six Bells Countryside Inn in Rosendale is so charming and has an adorable gift shop.

We carried our Harbor Raffia Shopper in Military Green to lunch at River Pavilion at Hutton Brickyards.

The view from River Pavilion at Hutton Brickyards is incredible and the menu is so good.

There are so many places to explore in the Hudson Valley, including the Kingston Waterfront, pictured above, where you can enjoy lunch at Mariner’s Harbor. We also love Westwind Orchard in Accord, Ravenwood in Kerhonkson, and Ollie’s Pizza in High Falls.

We look forward to spending the summer revisiting these favorite spots and discovering new ones along the way, always with a bag from our raffia collection in tow.
