Rancourt & Co. was one of the first shoemakers we ever collaborated with. And over ten years later, our respect for their Lewiston workshop has only grown. We returned to the shop floor for our DIRT Maine episode, watching firsthand as their artisans handsewed our most ambitious collaboration yet: The American Bison Capsule. This limited-edition release pairs the rugged, high-character grain of American bison leather with world-class Lactae Hevea soles—handpoured in France for "walking on air" comfort and a tough-as-nails exterior. It’s a celebration of Maine craftsmanship, and a partnership built to last a lifetime.
Taking cues from classic French workwear, we designedthe Sweater Chore Coatwith the looks of a timeless jacket and the comfort of a favorite sweater. With patch pockets and a super-soft, slightly stretchy fabric, it bucks the stiffness of traditional workwear. All to deliver on a perfect smart casual layering piece we’ll be reaching for from now through the end of spring.
