Despite founding Relwen, Jamie Rupp is a student of the industry, and always has been. He grew up in apparel—literally. His first job was as a window washer at his dad’s menswear store in Ohio, the first to bring Ralph Lauren to the Midwest. Then, after a decade-long tenure leading a household name through its heyday, he started his own brand, where he could bring his detail-obsessed, military- and workwear-inspired designs to life.

We sat down with Jamie to go deep on his new spring collection featuring longstanding silhouettes in lightweight fabrics and recently developed designs based on archival finds, like the Sailcloth Tanker, Airtex Hybrid Short, and Long-Sleeve Vintage Pique Polo.

Warmer days are on their way—and we have the perfect footwear for them. LUCA’s bestsellers just got updated in an all-new Italian suede in a color called Sand. The butter-soft material is shaped into the aforementioned silhouettes by talented artisans in the brand’s Portugal factory. It offers the perfect contrast to the amber-colored premium Lactae Hevea outsoles, harvested from trees in the south of France, on the Terra Penny Loafer and Terra Low Sneaker, and the crisp white outsole on the Court Sneaker. Together, they, with the help of a cushioned Italian leather insole, deliver immediate on-foot comfort—no break-in needed. And they look good, too, whether with equally lightweight linen shorts, light-wash denim, or a tonal chino.
