Tennis legend René Lacoste liberated his limbs by hacking away at his tennis whites, inadvertently inventing the smart-rugged king of performance gear, the Pique Polo. Since then, the polo has become much more official, and as warmer temps creep into the forecast, it’s become a fixture in our wardrobe. It’s as comfortable as a T-shirt but looks a bit more elevated, thanks to the collared neckline and its two- (or three-) button closure. We can work up a sweat in one, but we’ll still look put-together afterward. There's a fresh run of polos in stock, ranging from rugged, military-inspired ones to another cut from ultra-soft Peruvian cotton. |
