Kyle here—Director of Marketing at Huckberry. It’s Memorial Day, so you know what that means. Time to take on the Murph Challenge.
A one-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, another mile run. This workout is as punishing as it is simple—but that's kind of the point. For one man, it exemplified the idea that you should train like you fight. Nowadays, it serves as an opportunity to honor the fallen and a stark reminder of who we are: a people that are stubbornly unyielding. Especially when presented with the opportunity to do some hard shit.
As Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer said in our interview on The Journal: "You’re going to earn your day."
Whether you’re joining us in Austin at Korrect Fitness or grinding it out on your own and tagging @huckberry, it all makes a difference.
Because for each GORUCK purchase or completed workout (in-person or tagged on Instagram), we're donating $5 to the Lt. Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation. So thank you for showing up, proving something to yourself, and carrying the weight with meaning.
Thank you for being a part of the 1-million+ strong Huckberry community! If you enjoyed this email, do us a solid and forward it to a friend. We owe you one.
