We’re fresh off testing this new version—what we’re calling the swim trunk killer—in Hawaii with some serious Type 2 fun.

Made from a durable 4-way stretch fabric for all-day adventures in water and on land, they’re quick-drying and feature a liner inspired by performance bike bibs. That means they’re supportive without being restrictive, but capable of carrying your EDC without getting weighed down. Just remember to empty your pockets before you jump in. The chore coat was always destined to be a lightweight, utilitarian top layer. Tracing back to 19th-century France, the originals, dyed a benzoate-based blue, were meant to wear the stains of manual labor so other clothes didn’t.
