Fall allergies are here.

Just like humans, pets can suffer from seasonal allergies, and fall is no exception! With the changing weather, increased pollen, mold spores, and other environmental allergens, fall can be a challenging time for pets prone to allergies.

1. Ragweed and Pollen:
Fall brings high levels of ragweed pollen, which can easily trigger allergic reactions in pets. You might notice excessive itching, sneezing, or watery eyes.

2. Mold and Mildew:
As leaves fall and moisture builds up, mold spores increase in the environment. Pets that play outside can easily pick up these allergens, which irritate their skin and paws.

3. Dust Mites:
As we prepare our homes for the cooler weather, dust mites can become more prevalent indoors. These tiny pests are a common allergy trigger for pets.

4. Flea Allergies:
While fleas can be a year-round problem, fall often sees a spike in flea activity. Flea bites can lead to severe skin reactions in pets, especially those with flea allergies.
