Editor's Take
Kellyco Metal Detectors has been around since 1955, and honestly, that kind of longevity in the treasure hunting world says something. They're not just selling gadgets-they're basically the go-to destination for anyone who's ever wondered what's buried in their backyard.
What makes them different? Well, for starters, they carry everything from basic coin-hunting detectors to serious underwater equipment. And we're talking about the big names here: Garrett, Minelab, Nokta-brands that actual detectorists swear by, not just weekend hobbyists.
Their 30,000 square foot warehouse isn't just for show either. These folks actually know their stuff. They're available 9-5 Eastern, Monday through Friday, though fair warning-call volume gets pretty heavy, so you might get a callback. But that's kind of the point, right? When you're dealing with equipment that could help you find actual treasure, you want to talk to people who understand the difference between a pulse induction detector and a VLF unit.
The Knoxville showroom is pretty cool too. You can actually swing some of the latest detectors before buying, which beats ordering blind online. And let's be real-metal detecting is America's fastest growing sport, and it actually pays you back. There really is money out there waiting to be found.
They offer a 30-day hassle-free return policy, which is pretty generous when you're dealing with specialized equipment. Plus, free shipping on orders over $100 makes it easier to justify that upgrade you've been eyeing.
