Celebrate the Year of the Horse, one of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac, with performances, interactive activities, and artist-led workshops for all ages. 🎵 Live Performances: Ring in a prosperous New Year with a lion and dragon dance, discover the traditions of the holiday with Sesame Street Muppeteers, and enjoy traditional performances and music from cultures that celebrate Lunar New Year. 🎨 Drop-in Art Making: Create your own unique horse ornament, express yourself with Chinese and Korean calligraphy, accessorize with a fan, and more. 🗣 Storytelling: Participate in Storytime and dive deeper into works of art in The Met collection. 📸 Make Memories: Get a family portrait in a photobooth and connect with amazing organizations across New York City. Important: Please note there is extremely limited space for stroller parking at the Museum, and no stroller parking is permitted in or near the Auditorium. We strongly recommend avoiding bringing strollers to the Festival if at all possible. Free with Museum admission, which is always pay-what-you-wish for New Yorkers. View the schedule online.
