Our new redesigned entrance has opened along the National Mall on Jefferson Drive. Beginning today, all visitors will enter through this entrance. The doors on Independence Avenue that previously served as an entrance will now be exit-only.

And don't forget that free timed-entry passes are required to visit the Museum in DC.

Renovated Lockheed Martin IMAX Theater

The Lockheed Martin IMAX Theater has also reopened! The renovated theater features a 47-by-75-foot screen, dual IMAX laser projectors, 12-channel IMAX sound system, and new seats. The theater will show aviation and space IMAX documentaries during the day and select Hollywood films in the evenings.
