Your support is especially needed now, as we work to finish the biggest undertaking in the Museum’s history: the complete transformation of our flagship building on the National Mall.

Since we unveiled the first eight reimagined galleries in 2022, more than 4 million visitors have been captivated by the hands-on exhibitions, interactive features, and iconic artifacts—many on display for the first time.

And when our renovation is complete, every square inch of the building will be fully transformed, inside and out, allowing us even more opportunities to connect with the brave stories of the pioneers who dared to dream and then take flight.

Right now, specialists are putting the finishing touches on more new spaces, including Boeing Milestones of Flight Hall, our sweeping grand entrance; Barron Hilton Pioneers of Flight, highlighting the golden age of aviation during the 1920s and 30s; and the Allan and Shelley Holt Innovations Gallery, with rotating exhibitions that explore recent aerospace innovations.
