Editor's Take

So you've stumbled across Ooni, and honestly? You're in for a treat. This isn't just another kitchen gadget company-it's basically the reason your neighbor's been making you jealous with those perfect-looking pizzas all summer.

Ooni is an outdoor pizza oven company based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Ooni launched the world's first portable wood-pellet fired pizza oven in 2012. The company was founded in 2012 by husband-and-wife team Kristian Tapaninaho, a native of Finland, and Darina Garland. The company was formed around Tapaninaho's invention of the world's first portable and affordable wood-fired oven used for cooking pizzas and other foodstuffs suitable for high-temperature baking, up to 500 °C (932 °F).

But here's what makes them different-and why pizza enthusiasts get genuinely excited about these things. Ooni ovens are designed and engineered to provide you with the 950F high heat required to make authentic pizzeria quality pizza at home. The rapid cook achieved from extreme temperatures ensures a crust that is crisp and perfectly cooked toppings. We're talking 60-second pizzas here, not the 15-minute affairs you're used to.

The range is pretty impressive too. You've got gas-powered options for convenience, wood-fired models for that authentic flavor, and even electric versions that work indoors. Cook any style of pizza, veggies, meats, desserts and more in an Ooni oven, powered by your choice of wood, charcoal or gas. Discover the perfect way to cook pizzas, meats, and vegetables with Ooni pizza ovens - powered by wood, charcoal, gas, or electric.

And they've thought about the practical stuff too. We know Ooni makes such an awesome gift, our products are shipped in a branded box, but this does not show any pricing information. As soon as your product is on its way, we'll send you a tracking link so that you can intercept before your loved one gets a sneak peak at their gift! Plus, they back it up with what they call their "Great Pizza Guarantee"-basically, if you can't make great pizza with their oven, you get 60 days to return it.

What really stands out is how they've built this whole community around pizza making. Ooni brings people together. Its get the neighbours round, its a night with the guys or a girls night in, its the pride of little hands topping their own pizzas, and its a dozen hands grabbing a slice before its even hit the table. That's not marketing speak-that's genuinely what happens when you fire up one of these things in your backyard.
