In 2017, I left my corporate job at Estée Lauder to create a body care line inspired by the Caribbean skincare rituals I grew up with in Guyana. Every day, my grandmother would slather me in coconut oil — not just for softness or scent, but as a way of showing love. That memory stayed with me. And it became the foundation of this brand.

OUI the People started with a single-blade razor to solve my own skin concerns, and has since grown into a collection of award-winning products that hydrate, exfoliate, and celebrate skin — not "fix" it.In February, we entered a new chapter with our debut Eau De Parfum, SOUK HONEY. You asked for fine fragrance that met the standards of our body care — and you made SOUK HONEY our best-seller. So I got back in the lab.

Which brings me to why I’m reaching out today:On June 13th, we’re launching a brand-new product in both signature scents — Orange Blossom and Souk Honey.

This innovation is deeply rooted in tradition — passed down from the sistahs and the aunties — and reimagined for modern bodycare rituals.
