Philadelphia is one of the most diverse soccer cities in the country, and this summer that takes center stage on the pitch.

CASA Soccer, in partnership with Safe-Hub Philadelphia, are excited to invite you to take part in the Philly Grassroots Cup, a citywide summer tournament celebrating soccer, culture, and community. Registration is now open for players and teams ready to represent a country and compete in a global-style tournament right here in Philadelphia.

The Philly Grassroots Cup brings together adult and youth players for several weeks of competition, pride, and connection. Teams will represent one of 32 countries and compete in a group-stage format that leads into knockout rounds, creating a high-energy tournament experience inspired by the international game.

Adult divisions will be led by CASA and include:
11v11 Open Division
7v7 Women’s+ Division

Youth programming will be hosted by Safe-Hub Philadelphia and includes 6v6 divisions across multiple age groups, creating opportunities for players of all ages to be part of the experience.

Matches will take place from late May through mid-July, with the adult competition culminating in championship matches that bring the entire community together for a celebratory finale. All teams will be outfitted in custom-designed jerseys from Icarus FC, reflecting the culture and identity of the country they represent.

Whether you already have a full squad or are looking to join as an individual player, there is a place for you in the Grassroots Cup. Team captains can apply to enter a full team, while individual players can register as free agents and be placed on a team that best matches their background and experience.

With more than 60 teams, over 1,400 players, and dozens of community-focused events planned throughout the summer, the Philly Grassroots Cup is more than a tournament. It is a celebration of the people and cultures that make soccer in Philadelphia special. Spots are limited. Register now and be part of one of the city’s most unique soccer experiences this summer.
