Over the past five years, my work has taken me to Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle and Beijing.
I’m especially drawn to works that become emotional anchors—pieces that quietly reflect a collector’s own story. In this edition, I’m excited to share our latest digital exhibition, a lovely commission story, and highlight Black History Month.
This exhibition explores the life that lingers in a space after someone has left. Twelve artists capture how everyday objects carry their own sense of soul and history. Take a moment to explore the selection and discover the subtle traces of life within these pieces.
Bridging the distance between an artist's studio and a family's home reminds me why I love what I do. Recently, I paired a client in the Philippines with Oregon-based artist Renée Zangara for a family portrait—complete with their beloved dog, George.
From navigating the logistics of shipping an oversized work to capturing personal details, it was a true collaboration. The painting became a centerpiece in their home and even inspired the client’s daughter to start drawing.
I’m excited to spotlight two visionary African American artists, Jennifer Warren and Lewis Derogene. Through Afrofuturism and themes of agency and liberated life, their work moves beyond the present to claim an expansive vision of what’s to come.
