Soft tumbled leather in a camel-colored hue.

Hi Sabah People,

A great camel-colored leather is quite hard to come by.

So we knew we had something good on our hands when we found this leather in Istanbul. So perfect in hue, soft from the start yet robust enough for real wear, and with an unfinished, lightly distressed texture that seems as if it's already been bathed in the sun for days.

We call it our Sunwashed Camel and it's available this Spring as both Sabahs & Babas, a seasonal production as we head into the type of weather that calls for such a color.

We wore them last week with our friend, Heidi - founder of Ozma of California. She paired them with crisp white pants and an easy top; they'd go great with her relaxed linen and light cotton pieces too.

An Afternoon with Heidi.

Last week - Heidi Baker, the founder of OZMA of California, was in the neighborhood hosting a pop-up just across the street from Sabah House Brooklyn. So we stopped by to say hi!
Over cortados from Bakeri, and Heidi in our new Sunwashed Camel Sabahs, we caught up. With both of our brands now more than a decade in, having first met years ago in Venice, and with a shared appreciation for things classic, easy, and relaxed… there was a lot to discuss!

Since the beginning, OZMA has stayed grounded in quality, versatility, and clothing that fits your life — not the other way around. They’ve always been about creating pieces people reach for again and again. As Heidi put it best: they’re proud outfit repeaters.

Certainly an approach we appreciate at Sabah, and one we thought paired well with our Sunwashed Camel Sabah.

Where to Next? This summer, Heidi returns east for family camp — the same one she grew up attending — now with her son and parents in tow. A full-circle trip, and a reminder that the best things are often the ones we come back to.
