Our First Babet Collaboration 🌸

This is one for the books. 

Our first collaboration on our newest silhouette, the Babet, is with one of our favorite designers: Hannah Cawley of Cawley Studio.

Each Babet is entirely handmade using ultra soft full grain, unlined suede & smooth leather uppers and adorned with a handmade silk rose at the toe - a nod to Regency era courts when simple slippers were decorated and enhanced with adornments.

Available in white, black and pink, we've only made 60 pairs per colorway. Finds yours on the Sabah Portal and at Sabah House New York and London.

For this collaboration, we wanted to create something that felt distinctly Cawley while staying true to Sabah.

The result is a Babet that's playful, elegant, and handcrafted with the same attention to detail found throughout Hannah's collections. The custom silk flower adds a touch of occasion, while the soft, unlined leather ensures they're comfortable enough for everyday long after the celebration ends.

The collection is available in three colors chosen with Hannah: White, Pink, and Black. White feels crisp and effortless, equally suited to a summer afternoon or a wedding celebration. Pink brings a touch of whimsy and romance, while Black offers a timeless elegance that can be dressed up or down with ease.

Cawley is the South London eponymous label founded by Hannah Cawley. Their clothing reflects a deep commitment to craftsmanship, traditional textile processes, and thoughtful design - pieces made with care, meant to be worn often and kept for years.

Earlier this spring, we spent an afternoon at Hannah's studio, putting the finishing touches on a project we've been quietly working on together. The space is filled with natural light, textiles, vintage references, and the energy of a small team deeply engaged in their craft. Every corner seemed to tell a story.
