I've been stamping for about 25 years, which means I’ve had plenty of time to amass a borderline embarrassing (and totally beautiful) hoard of goodies. But truly, crafting has always been in my blood. My mom is the original creative spark. She used to take me on Saturday “supply runs” for a new coloring book and fresh crayons. Now, instead of crayons, it's ink pads, dies, and stencils, and TE has taken over most of my storage space. What is one way stamping brings you joy? Stamping is my happy place. It calms me down, fills my creative cup, and makes everything just a little more sparkly (sometimes literally). But hands down, the best part is the people. Thanks to this hobby, I found my “Got Glue Crew” - A fabulous bunch of crafty friends who bonded over stamps, snacks, and shared adhesive emergencies. We didn’t just click; we stuck together like glue (pun absolutely intended). I’ve made so many amazing friendships through this craft, but sharing this passion with my mom? That’s the ultimate heartstring-tugging bonus.
How long have you been a fan of TE? Oh, it was love at first quad! The Create-in-Quads were the gateway, introduced to me by my local craft haven, Scraps of Love in Peoria, AZ in 2021. A friend and I both decided TE was going to be our go-to, and we’ve never looked back. Between the jaw-dropping products, the thoughtful design that connects new and old sets, and a rewards system that makes my inner deal-hunter giddy, TE had me at “hello.” How does TE empower you in your crafting journey? Let’s be honest, TE is my creative enabler. Every event, video, product, sneak peek gives me inspiration. Sometimes to create. Sometimes to hoard. Occasionally both. TE helps me feel like I’m making something meaningful, even if it's just a punny birthday card that says, “You're the zest.”
What is your mantra for life (or stamping)? Be a good human. Show up. Say thank you. Send the dang card. Make people laugh until they snort. Hug your mom and dad and tell the people you love that you love them a lot, on repeat, and with feeling. I want to leave a legacy. When I’m gone, I hope people say: “She was kind, generous, fun, and she made beautiful cards and dang good soup!”
