When did you start stamping? I've been stamping since my oldest son was very little. I would have to say probably for about 26 years. I started with scrapbooking his baby book, then I was introduced to stamping at one of those in-home parties. I was hooked, and stamping became my #1 crafty love. What is one way stamping brings you joy? I truly believe that any craft you enjoy doing can be therapeutic. Stamping is "me time" when I need it. It provides a creative outlet that not only brings me immense satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment but also brings joy to the recipient of the card. Their smile says it all! Giving someone we love the feeling that they are special is the best joy there is for me.
How long have you been a fan of TE? I discovered TE many years ago at my local craft store, or at one of the scrapbooking/stamping conventions I attended here in town. One of my first purchases was the "Joe to Go" stamps/dies combo. I joined the TE Fans group on Facebook towards the end of 2023, when I discovered you had a large glass magnetic board...and the buying hasn't stopped since. How does TE empower you in your crafting journey? I've always preferred to use quality products for my stamping, and TE provides exactly that. I switched my ink and cardstock collections to TE last year. I love the frequent releases of new and unique products! It's also pushed me to try different techniques, like stenciling. I look forward to the monthly challenges, to the weekly videos, and seeing the posts of all the creative people in the Fans of TE group...it is all the motivation that I need to get crafty. Thanks to TE, I'm no longer a simple "collector."
What is your mantra for life (or stamping)? My mantra for stamping is simple: I need to buy it now in case I need it later! 😄
