When did you start stamping? I recall creating "stamps" with my daughters when they were little (early 90s): SPONGES and POTATOES! We made our own Christmas wrapping paper. Then, twenty-three years ago, I was invited to a Stampin' Up workshop. I was hooked. I graduated from sponges and potatoes. OH HAPPY DAY! What is one way stamping brings you joy? When I am in my craft space, "I" am the master of the universe - at least of MY creative universe! I take pride in my work and feel such a sense of accomplishment and pleasure when my ideas come to life. I tend to be a perfectionist (OCD) in my efforts, so attention to detail is natural. If it isn't straight, it goes into the recycling bin. How long have you been a fan of TE? Sometime between 2007-2015 (I've slept since then), I attended a card-making workshop at an Indianapolis "Archiver's" store. (I was sad then they closed!) Some of the tools and supplies were TE...I still have most of those dies! (The little tree that sprouts hearts!) I fell in love with so many things and TE really sparked my ideas. How does TE empower you in your crafting journey? I appreciate the TE community and how we share our ideas and projects. SO MUCH INSPIRATION. I love supporting small (GROWING!) businesses and learning new techniques and seeing new products so we can keep our design ideas fresh and current.
What is your mantra for life (or stamping)? "No one will know there were 47 other ways you could have done this. PICK ONE and just do it!" ha...I tend to overthink. I literally have to say those words out loud to myself so I can just get 'er done!
