When did you start stamping? I started stamping and card making back in 2012, I think. It started as a way to make personalized thank you cards for my kids' teachers and escalated from there into a full-blown hobby. What is one way stamping brings you joy? I am a stay-at-home mom, and once the kids started to grow older and needed less of my time, I needed a creative outlet. Card making was not only an answer to that, but it just relaxes me and puts me in a zone of calmness and peace.
How long have you been a fan of TE? The funny thing is, I have seen other creators use TE products and always liked what I saw, but I never really looked for myself until this year! I don’t understand what I was waiting for. I absolutely LOVE the YouTube videos, and the products are fantastic! I am slowly accumulating the ink pads, and the cardstock is wonderful. The quality is absolutely incredible. I also just started using stencils solely because of TE! How does TE empower you in your crafting journey? TE's stencils are one of a kind, and with the added coordinating die sets, there is no other product like this on the market -- at least not to my knowledge. It gives me such joy to use the colors I have from TE on those stencils, and ink blending is almost always therapeutic. I feel like I have accomplished something beautiful and unique when creating with TE products. The possibilities are endless with all the ink colors they have.
What is your mantra for life (or stamping)? My mantra for life bleeds into my creative output, I have always loved giving both my time and material things. I love listening to people and hearing their stories of both joy and sorrow, and if I can lift someone’s spirit with a card or a thoughtful gift, that is the goal. So perhaps the mantra would be “shine”….or something to that effect.
