When did you start stamping? I have actually only been stamping/cardmaking for less than a year. I started in 2024, close to Christmas. I happened to be on Pinterest one night, and a video of a SU demonstrator came across my feed. It was the first time I had ever seen a post on making a card, especially on my feed. It just so happened it was a card with a birdhouse and a cardinal. It really caught my attention because I love cardinals. I started looking up more videos, and the next thing I knew, I was buying card-making supplies. What is one way stamping brings you joy? I find card-making to be very therapeutic for me. It truly brings me peace. I don't really make cards to mail to family and friends, although I do. I make them to donate to organizations, and for them to send out to people in need. It brings me such joy knowing that I could be sending a little joy to someone without knowing that I made it - a little something to brighten their day or bring a little bit of encouragement during hard times. We never know what people are going through, and sometimes all they need is just a little note letting them know that someone cares.
How long have you been a fan of TE? I only recently discovered Taylored Expressions on YouTube. Taylor's designs are so beautiful. I especially love her Create-in-Quad designs. I can officially say I'm a TE fan for life! How does TE empower you in your crafting journey? TE's beautiful designs and amazing sentiments make it so easy to keep designing and to keep wanting to design. When I'm done designing/creating a card, I know that whoever receives my card is going to love it because of the products she offers that make every card so beautiful. TE's products make even the beginner cardmaker, like me, look like I have been doing it for years!
What is your mantra for life (or stamping)? I want to bring a smile to one person every day, one card at a time.
