This morning, Raspberry Pi announced a new 1GB version of Raspberry Pi 5, providing a new great-value option which we think will be perfect for low-memory projects and simple electronics.

We have stock in the warehouse ready to ship, including a 1GB option of our popular starter kits.

The new 1GB board was introduced at the same time as price increases across the Raspberry Pi 5 range, due to the rising price of LPDDR4 RAM. Raspberry Pi will be publishing a blog post in their news section to explain this in more detail.
