Today Raspberry Pi have launched the Raspberry Pi AI Camera!

It's a compact camera module (same footprint as the Camera Module 3) based on the Sony IMX500 - a 12MP sensor combined with on-board inferencing acceleration, allowing you to create sophisticated vision-based AI applications without the need for a separate accelerator.

The AI Camera transparently augments captured still images or video with tensor metadata, leaving the processor in the host Raspberry Pi free to perform other operations.

We have very limited initial launch stock with more on order with our chums over at Raspberry Pi.

This die-cast tripod mount has tripod screw holes (1/4-20) on the top, bottom, and back of the plate, giving you plenty of flexibility for your project
