🐰 Meet MaryAnn

First up is our fearless leader and owner of The Rabbit Hole Designs: MaryAnn! MaryAnn hails from the 3rd Rock from the Sun and has been crafting so long she practically taught baby Jesus how to fingerpaint. When she’s in the craft room, you’ll usually find her reaching for her favorite RHD product, the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool, and diving into her go-to technique: emboss resist ink blending. Fueling all that creativity are Peanut M&Ms, cleverly hidden away in her Pear Blossom Press Marker Bag. And when it comes to color palettes, Maryann keeps it classic — black, like her heart. 🖤

Irene lives in Northwest Indiana, just over the border from Chicago. She’s been crafting with all kinds of mediums for more than three decades, but about six years ago she fell head-over-heels for papercrafting after discovering bullet journaling.

Her favorite RHD product is still a secret (👀), but until it’s released, she can’t choose between the Meowgical and Year 5 Birthday sets. Irene especially loves paper piecing, thanks to how quickly it adds color, pattern, and texture—with endless possibilities to make every project unique.

When she’s crafting, you’ll likely find her fueled by Jack Link’s Sweet & Hot Beef Jerky—the perfect mix of protein, sweet, and spice without stopping to cook. Orange is her favorite color, often paired with pink and yellow, or teal and gold. One of her all-time favorite projects features the Fabulous Fuchsias bundle, used in a totally new way that quickly became a favorite card she’s ever made.

Lauren crafts from sunny San Antonio, Texas, and she’s been creative for as long as she can remember. While she’s been crafting since childhood, her love for papercrafts really took off in the 1990s—and it’s been going strong ever since.

Her favorite RHD product is the adorable Caffeinated Critters, and she also considers the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool an absolute must-have when heat embossing. Choosing a favorite technique isn’t easy, but if pressed, Lauren would say coloring and ink blending top her list.

She doesn’t usually snack while crafting, but coffee is always close at hand. Her color choices change with the season or occasion, and right now she’s loving crafting with pink and red together for the holidays.
