What motivates you in your creative work? What drives you to be creative?
Aurore Melot: "I can't live without creativity. It's my raison d'être. As a very passionate person, I put all my love and soul into every piece of jewellery I create."
How do you decide which natural gemstones to use?
Aurore Melot: "I love working with natural gemstones because they carry the raw beauty and energy of the earth. Nature is a deep source of inspiration for me and I am convinced that these stones bring peace and strength to our lives."
"I am particularly fond of the pieces from the Elyndra collection. Their rich, earthy tones remind me of the dramatic colours of the American canyons. It's like capturing a piece of these vast, powerful landscapes and transforming it into something personal. I also choose stones that are said to have a beneficial effect – beauty with meaning."
Do you dream about your designs?
Aurore Melot: "Oh yes, very often. I always have something to draw or write next to my bed."
