Sure, Kansas is considered the Sunflower State. But late summer in SoDak gives them a pretty good run for their money. Up here, as summer marches toward its later months, portions of the state are painted a brilliant yellow. See it in person, and you’ll be calling the Mount Rushmore State something new – breathtaking.

These flowers are more than just a pretty face. They do a lot for keeping the soil healthy. That’s why farmers rotate them with other crops from year to year. Because of this, we’re never totally sure where fields will grow, but we can point you in the right direction.
