Turning waste into wonder: UpCircler, your impact in 2025

Hey UpCircler - Happy Sunday! 

Anna here, co-founder of UpCircle (alongside my brother Will!). Here’s the short story of who we are, what we do (+ why!) and what we’ve achieved together with you so far:

🚫 Food waste is HUGE: around a third of all food in US wasted.

💡 Our idea: turn waste into wonder. Skincare, bodycare and haircare made from ingredients that would otherwise be discarded.

☕ It all started with coffee! 500,000+ tons of grounds go to UK landfill each year. We collected them from London cafés and turned them into scrubs.

🌸 Now? We upcycle 56 ingredients (and counting!) including oat husks, rose petals, hibiscus flowers, orange peels and many more.

✅ Sustainability credentials: B Corp, certified vegan, certified cruelty-free, plastic negative, 99% plastic-free packaging - mainly glass and aluminum.
