A few weeks ago, I sent out a letter celebrating VAHDAM®’s 10th birthday.

And like so many of my emails to you over the years, I received an overwhelming response — with over 400 heartfelt messages from all over the world. Not just congratulating the brand, but also sending warm wishes to my father, whose birthday happens to fall on the same day.

I read every single message with him. And honestly, it was overwhelming — in the best way.

Thank you. Deeply.

Reading those notes made me realise something I’ve been feeling for a long time… that I want to write to you more often.

Not just on special occasions, but more regularly — as a founder, and as someone simply trying to build a brand with purpose, integrity, and heart — and to share the real stories behind the scenes.

So today marks the start of something new.

This is the first edition of my personal newsletter. A humble beginning. I hope it becomes a small way for us to connect more often — and for me to serve you better.

A Special Surprise for My Dad

If you missed it — we hosted a celebration with our entire VAHDAM® team to mark our 10-year anniversary. What my dad didn’t know is that we also had a surprise planned just for him.

As he walked into the venue, more than 200 of us stood up and sang Happy Birthday.

And believe me, he was genuinely surprised :)

What followed was an incredible evening — filled with the kind of energy and spirit that made it feel like Day 1 all over again.

Darjeeling Second Flush 2025 is (Almost) Here!

Our Darjeeling Summer Teas launch is one of the most awaited moments each year.

This year, there’s been a slight delay — more rain than expected — but we’re working hard to bring you the freshest and most delicious summer teas.

I was in Darjeeling last week visiting our partner estates to make sure we get you only the best.

Sharing some pictures below — the smell of the fresh tea leaves is just wonderful.

Walking through those misty gardens reminded me why we do what we do. The craft, the care, and the connection to the land — it’s humbling every single time.
