Southern Illinois Roots Fuel Tyler Reddick's Historic NASCAR Start

Tyler Reddick has launched the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season in historic fashion, winning the first three races of the year for 23XI Racing and quickly establishing himself as the sport’s early championship frontrunner. While the streak has captured national attention across NASCAR, the foundation for Reddick’s success was built years earlier on the dirt tracks of southern Illinois.

100 Days out to Primetime 10th Annual Bommarito Automotive Group 500

In just 100 days, the NTT INDYCAR SERIES will return to World Wide Technology Raceway for a prime-time viewing of the fan-favorite 10th annual Bommarito Automotive Group 500 presented by Axalta and Valvoline on June 7. The 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season begins Sunday, March 1, on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida, setting the stage for another competitive year leading into the 10th annual Bommarito Automotive Group 500 in June.

Camp in the Action at the Progressive Insurance presented by Discover Downstate Illinois Tourism Campgrounds

At World Wide Technology Raceway, race weekend doesn’t start when the green flag drops, it starts when campers begin to roll through the gates at the campgrounds entitled by Progressive Insurance and presented by Discover Downstate Illinois Tourism. For the Bommarito Automotive Group 500, camping areas transform the track into a weekend-long destination, where fans can stay just steps away from the action.

Local Volunteers Recognized with Bommarito Automotive Group 500 Tickets

World Wide Technology Raceway, on behalf of the Raceway Gives Foundation, is thrilled to invite Need Paws Rescue to the 10th annual Bommarito Automotive Group 500 on June 7. Needy Paws Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer organization that is 100% foster-based to save dogs in need in and around the St. Louis area. Since April 15, 2014, Need Paws Rescue volunteers have found homes for over 8,000 dogs, and the organization is always looking for new fosters.

In 2026, Friday night qualifying returns under the lights at WWT Raceway, followed by the usual Saturday qualifying. Sunday will remain action-packed and full of eliminations, where the top racers in each category will go head-to-head until a winner comes out on top.
